Sunday’s workout:

Time: 2:45 p.m.

Location: Crunch

The workout: 11.25 miles on the treadmill

Music: I ditched the treadmill in favor of watching most of “Ice Age” since the gym has now discontinued CNN on the treadmills and nothing else has an adequat crawler.

Felt like: resolving not to run long on Sundays after four hours of flippy cup on Saturday night + sharing a bed with my sister-cousin again.

Total weekly mileage:11.25/30

What. Was. I. Thinking.

Two nights of other people staying over in my apartment and I’m trying to drag my ass 11.25 miles. Had a feeling it wasn’t going to happen on the slushy ground on the lakeshore path, but this one bit the big one. From mile 2 onward I wasn’ sure I was going to make it, and I tanked the last mile, finishing at 7.6 mph. The good news is, I did make it up to 8.5 mph during mile 10. The other good news is, I didn’t die.

In the future I’m going to try to NOT DRINK SO MUCH.

The run is over. Now what?
