Monday’s workout:

Time: 7:15 a.m.

Location: Crunch

The Workout: 16 minutes (2.12 miles) on the treadmill, seven lifts of legs/lower body, 16 minutes (2.15 miles) on the treadmill

Music: “Icky Thump” The White Stripes

Felt like: the first monday morning I’ve done in a couple weeks, and remembering how to run on tight muscles.

Total weekly mileage: 15.52/30

I had a week of insomnia last week, and didn’t get up early to run at all. So this was the first morning run in at least 10 days. Getting up was one of the more difficult tasks I’ve had to accomplish of late, and I’m not thrilled with how my legs felt. In fact, they still feel pretty bad. But the run itself met with my goals of being faster; and I added a plate to the birthing and anti-birthing machines. So overall, not bad.

The run is over. Now what?
