Thursday’s workout:

Time: 7:10 a.m.

Location: Crunch

The Workout: 6.68 miles on the treadmill in 50:30.

The Music: Spoon (Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga) and Peter Bjorn and John (Writer’s Block)

Felt Like: A little on the slow side, but overall I never considered stopping and couldn’t complain.

Total weekly mileage: 25/30

Wednesday night I got back to my apartment at 7:45 p.m., made dinner, ate, showered, transcribed about an hour of digital recording from the interviews I had done that day, got ready for bed and got in bed by 10:45. Then I woke up at 6 and was back at the gym only about 11 hours after I had left the night before. That gave me a little bit of the mental aspect to get over. But once my feet hit the floor in my bedroom, I was almost ready to go. Getting ready and getting to the L seemed to go faster since I wasn’t looking forward to the run.

Once I was actually on the treadmill, I decided to run as much and as fast as I could, and got a reasonable amount done, leaving only five miles to run on Saturday. Overall, glad I got up and made it happen.

The run is over. Now what?
